53% is the level of average support for enlargement among the EU27, according to the standard Eurobarometer survey (EB99) Spring 2023. The lowest support is in Austria at 29% and France at 35%. Germany is also below EU27 average with 42%. The highest support is registered in Lithuania at 77%, Spain at 74%, Croatia at 72% and Latvia at 71%.
